SquareI can’t believe how well my new Silk’n SensEpil has worked; it’s been just as good as all the Sensepil Reviews have promised. I’ve been using my Silk’n SensEpil for just over a month now and I’ve already seen some fantastic results with my hair removal.

If you’ve never read any Sensepil reviews then you may not know exactly how the Silk’n SensEpil works to remove your unwanted body hair. The Silk’n SensEpil uses “Home Pulsed Light” or “HPL” for short, and the HPL is absorbed by the hair follicle and it stunts the hair growth. After 3-4 sessions with the Silk’n SensEpil you should have silky smooth hairless skin for years to come.

Your hair grows in 3 different stages and that’s why it’s important to use the Silk’n SensEpil 3-4 times per area of your body that you’re removing hair from. The process is very easy, simple and pain free. In the Sensepil reviews I read they recommend, like the manufacturer, to avoid sunlight on the area(s) you want to treat for about 4 weeks prior to using Silk’n SensEpil and then to avoid sunlight about 2 weeks after you’ve completed your treatment sessions.

Avoiding sunlight helps your skin is at its most natural color/tone and will help the HPL focus its light on the hair follicles so it can be as effective as possible in removing your unwanted hair. The best skin/hair combination for the Silk’n SensEpil is to have lighter skin tones and darker hair. The contrast in skin and hair color tones helps the HPL zap the follicle, stunting its growth for years of hairlessness.

The main complaint I saw in other Sensepil reviews was that Silk’n SensEpil didn’t work for them. When I researched more about why Silk’n SensEpil wouldn’t work for someone I found out that even if you have the “ideal” skin/hair tones that 20% of users won’t have the hair removal they want. Everyone is different and has a unique make up so sometimes it just won’t work with a few body types.

On the positive side, that means you have an 80% chance of having near permanent hair removal! The Silk’n SensEpil was built for many reasons. Some of which include the ability to remove your hair at home at your own convenience. Another reason was to help people save money. Professional laser hair removal sessions can add up to a few thousand dollars really easily and quickly.

The technology that Silk’n SensEpil uses has been in use for about 15 years and was recently studied more intensely in the past 3 years. All the tests done on the Silk’n SensEpil have come back as safe for home use and safe for your health. The best result in my opinion is that the Silk’n SensEpil doesn’t hurt when you use it!

When I got my Silk’n SensEpil I watched a little instructional video that showed me the best way to use the machine so that I could really maximize my results. A few of the recommendations I want to pass on are that you should avoid sunlight while you’re going through your hair removal sessions. If you need to be in the sun then just use the highest rated sun screen you can find. (I started my sessions in the late winter/early spring so there wasn’t much sun and I hadn’t started shaving daily, shhhh ;)

The Silk’n SensEpil video recommended shaving the area you want treated before you start using the machine to remove your hair. That was surprising to me because I’m used to leaving a little hair growth for waxing. But you just shave right before you use the Silk’n SensEpil and it’ll help it kill the hair follicle better.

The Silk’n SensEpil has various power levels to choose from so that you can ease the intensity or raise it depending on how your skin reacts to the HPL. Silk’n SensEpil recommends that you do an entire area or areas in one session and then repeat the process every 2 weeks for 3-4 sessions. When the hair grows back in 2 weeks it literally falls out of the pore. It’s so cool!

I used the Silk’n SensEpil on my arms, underarms and my bikini line and I can’t say enough good about the results I’ve had so far. I’m 3 sessions into my hair removal process and I think I just need one more session to get a few hairs that I missed because almost no hair is coming back. I love it!

You can pretty much remove any unwanted body hair anywhere except your eyes and mouth. I’m not sure why, but that’s what the video said. My boyfriend keeps asking me if he can use my Silk’n SensEpil and I think I’ll let him use it when I’m done. Luckily he’s not a hairy beast but there are a few spots I wouldn’t mind more hairless on him.

Well, I hope you choose to use the Silk’n SensEpil to remove your unwanted hair. I’ve loved using mine and I’ve loved being able to remove my hair at home, at my convenience and I’ve loved saving a ton of money too. I hope my review has been helpful, there are a ton of Sensepil Reviews out there so don’t waste too much time reading because summer is almost here!

SensEpil Reviews From Readers

I would like to add some more reviews from the readers of my blog. I plan on adding them below my story. If you would like to add your own personal review, please email me at jennifer@sensepilreviews.com. Please make you review as detailed as possible. I would like to get reviews that are at least around 500 words. Sorry to sound so picky but I have never found short reviews to carry much creditability. Thanks!

Silk’n Sensepil Reviews

I’ve been reading a lot of Silk’n Sensepil Reviews lately and I’ve been really impressed with what I’ve read so far. In fact, I’ve been so impressed that I’ve decided to buy one for myself.

What really sold me on the Silk’n Sensepil hair removal system was the convenience of home use plus the huge savings when compared to professional hair removal. When I was looking to get just two areas (underarms and bikini line) treated at a professional hair removal clinic the price I was quoted was a couple thousand dollars.

Not only does the Silk’n Sensepil cost less, but I can treat as many areas on my body as I want without having to pay for costly treatments like at a professional clinic.

Another reason I decided to buy a Silk’n Sensepil over other hair removal brands/systems was the HPL (Home Pulsed Light) technology that stunts hair growth for years and sometimes permanently. The HPL technology works faster than traditional laser hair removal systems allowing you to remove all your unwanted hair in only 3-4 sessions.

The light emitted from the HPL is absorbed by the hair follicle and it stunts/kills the follicle. It takes 3-4 sessions to complete the hair removal because hair grows in 3 stages. After you’re done with the 3-4 sessions then you just use the Silk’n Sensepil for spots you missed or move on to a new area to treat if desired.

The Silk’n Sensepil is very safe to use and the reviews all indicate that there isn’t any pain during the hair removal treatments. You just shave the area you want treated, use the Silk’n Sensepil to treat the area and then in 2 weeks the dead hair will fall right out and you can start a new session for the new growth stage.

Like any hair removal system, the Silk’n Sensepil works best on darker hair and lighter skin tones. If your skin is on the darker end of the spectrum that is allowable for the Silk’n Sensepil to work, you can adjust the power down if needed to avoid any discomfort.

The Silk’n Sensepil’s HPL technology has been tested intensely in the past few years by surgeons and dermatologists and is approved by the FDA for use in the home. The HPL technology has been around for 15 years and its still found to be safe and a painless method of hair removal.

Something that the Silk’n Sensepil Reviews all seem to mention or suggest is avoiding sunlight for a few weeks before you start your treatments. They say that having your skin at its most natural tone helps the Silk’n Sensepil more effectively remove your hair. And if you must be out in the sun then use the highest rated sun block you can.

I’m super excited for my Silk’n Sensepil to show up. I’m so ready to get ready for beach season. I love going to the beach and I’m more excited to go now and enjoy the water because I couldn’t always go in if I just shaved or got a wax, the salt water burns sometimes.

I’ve found the Silk’n Sensepil Reviews to be very helpful, informative and exciting and I hope you’ve found my review in like regards.

Sensepil Hair Removal

I’ve been curious for awhile now about the Silk’n Sensepil Hair Removal system and I’ve started to read a lot of reviews about it and I’ve been impressed so far. I’ve been curious about permanent hair removal for a long time but I’ve never wanted to spend several thousand dollars to get it done.

Something that I was very surprised by while I was reading about how the Silk’n Sensepil works was that the technology it uses has been around for 15 years. Because it’s been around for so long the FDA has had plenty of time to test it and approve it for safe home use. They used several dermatologists and plastic surgeons to test the Silk’n Sensepil for safety and effectiveness.

I guess the Silk’n Sensepil hair removal isn’t “permanent” because you might experience some hair re-growth in about 5 years. That’s fine with me; the way I see it that’s like getting a wax that lasts 5 years but with no pain. I have also seen that for some people “permanent” laser hair removal isn’t so permanent and that they experience hair re-growth after 5-6 years or if their body chemistry changed (like from pregnancy).

The way that the Silk’n Sensepil works is that it uses Home Pulsed Light, or HPL, which is a pulse of light that the hair follicle absorbs and it stunts the hair growth for several years. The HPL is pain free and safe to use. Silk’n Sensepil even has a built in sensor that measures the color/tone of your skin and it won’t emit the HPL if the skin tone is too dark for safe usage.

The Silk’n Sensepil website states that their product works best on lighter skin tones and darker hair color. If the skin is too dark then the HPL might burn the skin or if the hair is too light then the HPL won’t be absorbed by the hair follicle and won’t stunt its growth.

Something new that I learned from the Silk’n Sensepil hair removal site is that hair grows in three stages. At first I thought they suggested doing 3-4 hair removal sessions to make sure you didn’t miss any spots but now I see that it’s so you zap the hair at each growth stage.

I really love that the Silk’n Sensepil hair removal system can be used at home. I can use it whenever it’s convenient and I can do as much or as little hair removal as I want. I can even do an area of hair removal now and another area in the future and I don’t have to pay more for that. It’s so convenient and so much less expensive that laser hair removal.

One last suggestion from the Silk’n Sensepil hair removal website is to avoid sunlight a few weeks before you start doing your hair removal sessions and to continue to avoid sunlight a week or two after you’re done with all of your sessions. I guess the Silk’n Sensepil works best when your skin is at its most natural tone.

I’m excited to get myself a Silk’n Sensepil Hair Removal system and start getting rid of my unwanted hair.

Sensepil Home Hair Removal

If you’re curious about hair removal like I am, the n you should check out the Sensepil Home Hair Removal system. I’ve been reading reviews about the Silk’n SensEpil home hair removal system and I’ve been checking out their website and I’ve been quite impressed so far.

I’ve been curious about permanent hair removal for awhile but I’ve never really wanted to go to a specialist’s office and have my hair laser removed by a complete stranger. I love the idea of being able to remove my hair in the comfort of my own home.

The Silk’n SensEpil home hair removal system uses Home Pulsed Light (or called HPL) to stunt hair growth for several years. It doesn’t claim to be as permanent as laser hair removal but it will stunt hair growth for five plus years. The advantage of using the Silk’n SensEpil over a laser hair removal, like Tria, is that the wand is bigger and covers more area per light pulse than the lasers do.

Also, the Silk’n SensEpil home hair removal system works faster than laser hair removal. You can remove your unwanted hair in only 3-4 sessions whereas with a typical laser hair removal it takes at least 6 sessions, usually more.

According to the Silk’n SensEpil website, everyone’s body hair grows in 3 different stages and that’s why the Silk’n SensEpil home hair removal system can remove your hair in 3-4 sessions. The fourth session is usually just a touch up session to get any hairs you missed in the first three sessions.

Another thing that excites me about the Silk’n SensEpil home hair removal system is that there’s no pain with the HPL. And the Silk’n SensEpil even gives you the ability to adjust the power or intensity of the HPL up or down so that it works perfectly with your specific skin tone.

I’ve already made up my mind that I’m going to get a Silk’n SensEpil home hair removal system. Not only does it not hurt, is super convenient, effective and log-lasting, it’s been tested by various doctors and dermatologists and has been approved by the FDA. So basically I can get safe, painless, near permanent hair removal in my own home; sign me up.

The Silk’n SensEpil home hair removal system makes sense to me. What it offers is exactly what I’m looking for in hair removal. I’ll keep you posted on how well it works for me after I order my Silk’n SensEpil home hair removal system.

Sensepil VS Tria

I’m definitely looking for a hair removal system I can use at home and I’ve come across two that seem to be pretty popular brands and I wonder how the Sensepil VS Tria compare. If anyone has any experience with either product I’d be interested to know what your personal experience has been.

What I’ve learned so far about the two different products are that they’re both marketed for home use, they both have long lasting hair removal systems, they’ve both been tested and are safe to use.

A few differences between the Sensepil VS Tria are that the Silk’n SensEpil uses Home Pulsed Light (HPL) which stunts hair growth when the pulsed light is absorbed into the hair follicles and the Tria uses a traditional laser that is used in professional clinics/offices. The Silk’n SensEpil will remove hair for five or more years and the Tria claims to be a permanent hair removal device.

Horizontal

Even though the Silk’n SensEpil isn’t permanent, it removes hair faster by having a larger area on the skin that is covered by each light pulse and it only takes 3-4 sessions for complete hair removal. The Tria takes at least 6 sessions and has a very small area that is treated with each laser pulse.

The Silk’n SensEpil seems to have better customer reviews and seems to be liked more than the Tria by the various product testers. I was watching a few of the news video clips on the Silk’n SensEpil website and a few people had tested both products, the Silk’n SensEpil on one leg and the Tria on the other. They liked how much faster the Silk’n SensEpil worked and how much more area it covered per pulse; reducing the amount of time it took to complete a session. It was funny to watch the news anchor because couldn’t keep his eyes off of the woman’s leg she used the Silk’n SensEpil on.

One more difference between the Silk’n SensEpil and Tria is the price. The Silk’n SensEpil is a few hundred dollars less expensive than the Tria. I’ve read that the Tria is virtually pain free, meaning that each laser pulse feels like a rubber band snap. The Silk’n SensEpil reviews say that it’s actually pain free and that the power level is adjustable in case you feel any discomfort or if it’s not powerful enough.

The Silk’n SensEpil is able to work faster because the light is absorbed by the hair follicle and it stunts its growth for five or more years. Since hair grows in three stages you need to do a session every two weeks for 3-4 sessions so you get all the hair in each growth stage. The Tria will completely kill the hair follicles, but it takes more sessions to permanently kill it and a small percentage of people will experience hair re-growth 5-6 years after their final session.

So I guess I just need to decide what is most important to me in a hair removal system to make a decision between the two products. I’m leaning towards the Silk’n SensEpil because it’s faster, pain free, and the people who have used both products seem to like it more than the Tria. Let me know what your experience has been between the Sensepil VS Tria.

SensEpil Reviews – Reader Review #2

Why you should choose SensEpil

Recently I decided that there had to be a better way to get rid of unwanted hair so I scanned SensEpil Reviews and decided that this product sounded like it was worth a second look.

SensEpil (pronounced ‘sense appeal’) is one of a range of home hair removal systems that is currently on the market.  And while they are all designed to do the same thing, they definitely do all have slightly different features and techniques.  Many years ago I had tried a home system and been devastated with the effects.  Although I had followed the instructions on how to use the actual machine, my skin – which is normally an olive compexion – was on this occasion, towards the end of summer, very well tanned.  When I went about my routine of hair removal I was shocked by the result as there was obvious marking.  I assumed that this sort of treatment just wasn’t for me.

So that experience sent me back to waxing.  But I always thought there must be a better, more comfortable way.  Even when I’ve made the regular trips to a beautician for this treatment, and there is an element of pampering going on, I really wanted to minimise the number of those trips.  And the cost!

With my experience in the early days shining very brightly in my mind, I scanned the SensEpil Reviews and saw one feature that set this system apart from others I had heard of.  The SensEpil uses a patented ‘home pulsed light technology’ which is what activates the destroying of the hair itself.  But what excited me most was that this system has a sensor which will decide for you – eliminating all the guesswork – whether your skin is too tanned for treatment.  It literally won’t work if your skin isn’t ready for it.  What a relief.  And it avoids that temptation to ‘try and see’!

With that reassurance I made the investment and now take care of hair removal in the privacy of my own home.  Which means when I feel like it – no appointments necessary – and that certainly saves a lot of hassle!

One of the things that all SensEpil Reviews mention is that this treatment isn’t instant!  The effects aren’t immediate – just as they aren’t when you are being treated by a therapist.  The reason is that our hair grows in three different stages and the pulsed light technology works on hair only in its ‘active’ growth stage.  Which means that you will need to re-treat every couple of weeks and it may be a few weeks before you start seeing noticeable results.  I guess it’s that need to re-treat that makes the investment in this product so cost-effective in the long run.

I wish that I had checked out SensEpil Reviews long before now because from my earlier experience, I really didn’t believe I’d ever be able to take advantage of light technology to get rid of my unwanted hairs.

SensEpil Reviews – Reader Review #1

SensEpil – MY INVISISBLE FRIEND

Hi, I’m Melina, a fair and beautiful girl, but I was a virtual ‘fur ball’ till SensEpil befriended me and let this SensEpil review be a guide to other girls like me.  My life was one hairy hell and I was shy and withdrawn due to my problem.  I had coarse hair on my arms, legs, underarms and bikini area and the coarseness would put any self respecting caveman to shame.  I tried everything from Waxing to shaving and nothing really worked.  Since I was self conscious about this problem, a date was simply ‘no no’.  I almost always wore full length clothes.   The boys in my class had some extremely uncomplimentary things to say about me, behind my back of course, but I was aware of the titters that followed me around.  In this state of mental hell, I read a SensEpil review and it changed my life changed for ever.

Horizontal

Having tried so many hair removal treatments I was wary of this one too, even though the SensEpil reviews I read were positive.  I did some research and found that SensEpil had been approved by FDA for permanent hair reduction treatment for almost all parts of the body.  This device applied a patented Home Pulsed Light technology, using optical energy to prevent hair growth.  The hair shaft absorbs the energy of the light and then converts it to heat.  Hair is present on our bodies in three phases, growth, resting and shedding phases.  The treatment is effective when the hair is in the growth phase.  Initially more than one application has to be done to remove all the hair.  The SensEpil works better on light skin and there is a skin color sensor which will prevent the light from zapping if the skin was too dark.  It was convenient to hold the SensEpil and seemed easy to use.  It was reasonably priced.

Armed with this knowledge, gained from reading the SensEpil review, I started on my calf area.  Zap, I felt as if a rubber band had been ‘wacked’ against my skin.  It was more uncomfortable than painful.  Slowly I proceeded to cover my body with the SensEpil.  I noticed some hair had fallen out, but I was not disappointed as I knew initially multiple applications had to be applied.  I started using it regularly and slowly but surely, I was becoming a girl.  My armpits stopped competing with my brother’s mustache.  They became hairless and smooth.  My legs and arms suddenly felt silky and the fuzz on my face was a thing of the past.  I did encounter a problem with hair removal in a small patch just above my ankle, as I had a dark birth mark.  Considering the overall benefit, this was a mere ant bite.  At last I felt like a true girl and slowly came out of my shell.  I started dating and soon enough I was head over heals in love.  Thanks to SensEpil I was a new person.

I am sure there are countless girls out there, suffering in silence as I did once upon a time.  There is no need to be.  I am sharing this SensEpil review just for such girls.
